Before I get into my own accomplishments and work with programming, I am going to list some resources that I have found vital throughout the process.

Visual Basic (VB) Programming:

http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/  -  This is the MSDN official Visual Basic website, if you need help with VB, look in here.

C++ Programming:
www.cppgameprogramming.com  -  Though mainly for games programming, I have found this website particularly interesting as it not only shows a respectable amount of C++, but it also has examples for c++ libraries such as allegro, which are very handy.

www.Amazon.com  -  Using Amazon, I have been able to find lots of handy C++ programming books, such as Bjarne Stroustrup's C++ Special Edition!

www.thegamecreators.com  -  TheGameCreators are a game development company that offer a wide range of products, some free, some not, to assist with game programming. My favourite product of theirs (having used Dark Basic and Dark GDK) would have to be the Dark GDK, as it is free to use, is used alongside Microsoft Visual C++, and is a very practical developer kit for beginners. I would recommend learning at least the basics of C++ before using the Dark GDK.

DarkBasic Pro:
www.thegamecreators.com - This is the website of the respective owners of this product. I have used DarkBasicPro to make various games.
Below is a link to download a .RAR archive containing the first game I created in DarkBasic, along with the media and object files.
I hold all rights to the DirectX objects and ask that you do not re-use them commercially.

General programming:
www.google.com  -  The main online resource for anyone looking for help would have to be google. Search for what you want, and browse the pages!

I am sorry for the current lack of content in this section, but I can assure you that it is only because I am currently working on some awesome projects, and I will be sharing them with you ASAP!
